What We Do:

I have extensive experience working with clients who have encountered grief and loss, anxiety and depression, and trauma and addictions. I have also experienced the great human capacity for resilience, hope, and change, and where meaning can be found. I strive to foster a comfortable and safe environment, where together, we can come to understand a client’s concerns, fears or pain, and explore the many ways available to address them.

As a veteran, I have a special interest in working with and helping other veterans. I also work with and support members of the Emergency First Responder Services.

Psychotherapy can be used to help a number of concerns including:

The relationship between therapist and client is a very important one and plays a large role in the successful outcome of therapy. It is very important therefore to ensure that a strong positive relationship can develop between the two. Clients will often know quickly if a certain therapist might be right for them, and perhaps even faster if they are not! Client’s have described a positive relationship with a therapist as one that “resonates with them”, or one that “clicks”. I would be happy to speak to you so that we can determine if I may be the right therapist for you.
