I am a Registered Psychotherapist – Qualifying, with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. I was awarded a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology degree from Yorkville University, a Master of Divinity degree from Queen’s University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree (History) from Lakehead University.
I have been working with and caring for people for over 25 years. I have worked in secure custody facilities, colleges, churches, an addictions clinic, and with marginalized and street populations at a homeless shelter. In each context and location, I have seen the wide variety of addictions and mental health concerns that confront people, but more importantly, I have seen the individual strength that has allowed people to overcome their unique concerns and live happier, healthier and more fulfilling lives.
